  • Evergreen Children's Theatre and Aurora Valentinetti Puppet Museum - The mission of the Evergreen Children's Theatre is to provide a forum for volunteers to share their love of the arts with the new generations of children in order to perpetuate our heritage of Community Based Theatre in its many forms. The Aurora Valentinetti Puppet Museum supports this mission preserving and presenting the history of puppetry, especially of the Pacific NW and the Pacific Rim.

  • Peninsula Services is a non-profit United Way agency that provides quality vocational skills training, job placement and living skills training to persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness and other challenges. The agency maintains training sites and contracts through the Puget Sound region, such as The Gift Garden-retail gift/plant store, Office Smart-office/business supplies, both located at 327 Pacific Ave. Bremerton; All Shred-document destruction for home and business (call 360-731-6695 for info), Kitsap E-Z Earth-100% organic vermicompost production, sold at The Gift Garden and other local retailers. Grounds maintenance, shelf-stocking and janitorial services are provided to Navy bases and businesses. Our two Servmart stores provide products to the Navy and other government entities. These work sites are used to train and supportively employ persons with disabilities in the Kitsap community. We believe that every person has the ability to excel, grow and achieve personal goals if given an opportunity to do so.
